Review: Smith's Rosebud Salve Tube

I love Smith's Rosebud Salve in a tin, so I knew I'd feel the same way about Smith's Rosebud Salve Tube ($6). I always use it on my lips and at night I really slather it on and when I wake up the next morning it's still there. Makes lips incredibly soft. Available at Beautyhabit.com.

All three of these are really pretty and wearable shimmery shades. Princess and Cushion are pink colored, good as blushes and Brilliant is a very shimmery highlighting shade. They feel kind of cooling on the skin, which I like. And of course the blinged-out mini tubes are super cute.

Review: Korres Lip Saver Roll

Korres Lip Saver Roll ($19.50, $27 value)- 3 of the best-selling Korres Lip Butters in Pomegranate (sheer coral), Quince (sheer rose) and Jasmine (sheer neutral pink). These have a very soft cushiony feel when you stick your finger in it. I scoop some out for a rich, truly buttery balm that's slightly tinted and moisturizing (shea butter and rice wax). I like them but they're not my favorite because they tend to wear off pretty quickly. My favorite is the pomegranate.

Review: Bath & Body Works - Lambie Sleep Blanket

My husband and I just moved into our first house! It's adorable. I'll have to show the pictures soon. It's been COLD in there and there's not a whole lot more I love than snuggling up on the couch with a soft, warm blanket and my kittens (and hubby if he's around). Well, we don't have a couch downstairs yet... it's hard to find one small enough to fit, so I've been confined to the floor. I decided to buy myself a little treat from Bath & Body Works. It's called the Lambie Sleep Blanket ($39.50) and it's huge. It's 56"x60" of plush, warm, fuzzy softness with a lamb face on the corner. I love it. My kittens love it to. It's 100% polyester. Normally, I wouldn't shell out no $40 for a freakin' blanket, but this one is absolutely PERFECT for winter. It's enough to make me excited for the cold that is yet to come.
